On the second day of drop-in sitting for us, she discovered that a bear had broken into our chicken coop overnight. Six of our 11 chickens were running around loose and the rest were missing. We are so appreciative of how she handled this difficult and unexpected situation! It took quite a long time to catch some of the traumatized chickens, and she came back later that night and the next day to keep looking for those that were still missing. She did an excellent job of communicating with us throughout the weekend. She also made sure our bunnies were safe, and took great care of our cat!
